The National Road Championships are finally upon us, having been delayed from their usual summer date for a second year because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
However, despite the title races taking place at a time of year when the domestic road season is usually over, there is a very good field assembled for the TTs.
They get the championships underway on Thursday from the Beehive Pub, Brittas, Co Wicklow. The TTs will be followed by a break in the action on Friday before the weekend plays host to the road races on Saturday and Sunday.
