Nasty road rage assault on cyclist filmed from nearby car | Video

Things got pretty nasty when this driver threw punches at the cyclist after a dispute on the road inGran Canaria

A road rage incident involving a driver and a cyclist in Spain has been filmed by a person in a nearby car, with Spanish police now involved.

Mallorcan rider Raùl Márquez told local media that he was
left with a broken tooth and an injury to his hand, adding he had reported the
matter to police.

He was out riding with cyclists from the Qromia Cycling Club in Gran Canaria and claimed a driver overtook him in a dangerous way.

The driver stopped and a verbal dispute ensued between
the driver and cyclist, which resulted in punches being thrown.

Márquez took off his cycling shoes as the dispute was still verbal in nature. Shortly after he did that, things turned nasty.

After several blows from the other man were landed on Márquez another person on the scene intervenes and pulls the driver away, restraining him and urging him to get back into his car.
