The Movistar team's 'Least Expected Day' third series is about to be released on Netflix, the team has confirmed. While it has already been broadcast in Spain on Movistar's steaming service, the team has now confirmed it will be released generally on Netflix before the spring is over.
This third series features the women's team as well as the men's squad, but the moment that will be watched most eagerly by cycling fans is the coverage of La Vuelta.
The team dominated the media coverage towards the end of the race when Miguel Ángel López was sitting 3rd overall and decided to climb off his bike. He abandoned the race after a dispute on the road when team mate Enric Mas pulled ahead of him in a group.
The matter has been well covered in the media, though cycling fans will still be keen to see the full account of it, from riders and staff, in the new series. Soon after the controversy it was announced that López and the team were parting company, with the Colombian rider having since joined Astana Qazaqstan.
