Matt Teggart has completed a very strong performance at the four-day Estivale Bretonne in Brittany, France, by moving into the top 10 and claiming the climbers' classification.
While the final stage - some 135.5km starting and finishing in Loudeac - came down to a bunch sprint from just over 70 riders, Teggart moved up from 12th on GC to 9th.
And having closed in on the climbers' jersey during his stage 3 breakaway ride, he targeted that jersey on yesterday's final stage and saw off the two other contenders for the classification.

Taking victory in that classification and moving up to 9th followed his 8th, 10th and 6th stage placings on the first three days of action. That very strong performance over the four days came after the disappointment of last week when he was forced out of Kreiz Breizh Elites on the final stage with knee pain.
Yesterday's final stage in Brittany was won by Théo Cotard (WB-Fybolia Locminé) from Camille Batista (Guidon Chalettois) and Damien Ridel (UC Nantes-Atlantique), with Teggart (VC Villefranche Beaujolais) placing 19th.
Fellow Irish rider, and national TT champion, Conn McDunphy (CC Nogent-sur-Oise) placed 58th yesterday, finishing in the same large group as Teggart.
The home riders took the top three places overall; stage 3 winner Johan Le Bon (Dinan Sport Cycling) claiming the final yellow jersey by 11 seconds from Louis Barré (UC Nantes-Atlantique).
Sandy Dujardin (Vendée U) was 3rd at 14 seconds. Teggart ended the race in 9th overall at 1:29, with McDunphy 18th overall at 1:40.
