Matt Teggart is set for a return to the French scene after riding for Irish Continental team EvoPro Racing this season.

Teggart endured a challenging start to 2019, initially starting racing early in the season but being forced onto the sidelines due to injury.

And while he would return to racing during the summer months, his season was impacted by the injury that kept him away from racing early in the year.

Having ridden for An PostChainreaction in 2017, he moved to Team Wiggins last year before racing for EvoPro Racing this season.

He is going back to French DN1 team AC Bisontine, for whom he rode in 2016 before moving to An Post-Chainreaction.

During his U23 years he was a regular on the Irish team, competing in the Nations Cup as well as Europeans and World Championships.

And while he had his issues early this season, he was selected onto the national team to ride the Europeans in Holland.

He won a stage of Rás Tailteann in 2017 and also held the yellow jersey in that race.
