Brammeier’s new ‘Team Champion System’ Irish road champ’s jersey; we like….
In the past few days we’ve brought you the first shots of the An Post-Sean Kelly 2013 kit and the first photos of Martyn Irvine in his new Unitedhealthcare gear, not to mention Stephen Clancy’s new Novo Nordisk kit.
And now for the big one; Matt Brammeier’s new Irish champion’s jersey in the livery of his Champion System ProContinental team.
The squad had already released some graphics of the design, but the real article looks a lot brighter and fresher than those mock ups.
Heading into his third season in a row as Irish road champion, Brammeier has moved from Omega Pharma-Quickstep to his new Asian-based team. He will be one of the strongmen of the squad and should get an opportunity to get some results for himself rather than being constantly tied to team duties as was the case last year and in 2011 with HTC Highroad.
Brammeier has won a lot of races since he started competing as a teenager, so with his move to new pastures now well and truly completed, let’s hope he can get back to his winning ways in the year ahead.
Best of luck to him in 2013.
