Irish professional rider Matt Brammeier has helped organise the charity auction to trump all charity auctions which takes place tonight in his adopted home of Girona.

The Dimension Data man who will join Aqua Blue Sport for 2017 and ’18 is co-coordinating tonight’s Girona Gala with the assistance of his wife Nikki as well as teammates Nathan Haas and Adrian Niyonshuti, the latter having flown in from his base in Italy on Thursday.

Tickets have sold out for the event which will be attended my many of the sport’s top names as well as a host of other special guests and dignitaries.

Well-known Eurosport  TV presenter Ashley House will MC the event which has the format of welcome drinks, dinner, charity auction and raffle.

Earlier today, Brammeier took part in a charity cycle which saw over 100 people take to the roads of Girona under heavy rain and he said he’s been humbled by the response his fundraising appeal has had.
