With the start of the race a little more than one week away, the organisers of the Kerry Group Rás Mumhan have published the confirmed start list for this year's event.
There's a massive 214 riders down to compete, with last year's overall winner Damien Shaw wearing No 1 for his Aquablue team. The Cork-based outfit are one of a number of Irish clubs who have two selections in the field.
Following their lead, also with two teams in the start list are Orwell Wheelers, DID Dunboyne, Omagh Wheelers, Killarney CC and Killorglin CC.
They face other strong line-ups from the domestic scene as well an U23 Irish development team and squads from Holland and across Great Britain.
National road race champion for the past two years, Mel Spath is also down to ride and will be the only woman in the field.
