Tosia with her new Aqua Blue Sport kit: “I am the manager, but we all have to be treated the same,” she wrote.
He may have had his season interrupted by a crash recently, but Martyn Irvine is still making his presence felt.
Earlier this year stickybottle published a story about a young girl, Tosia, in Dublin who was trying to start her own cycling club.
She posted a handwritten note on a lamppost in Crumlin, Dublin, seeking like-minded kids who were into cycling, stretching and picnics.
Absolutely LOVE this very cute advert seen on a lamppost on Sundrive Ave, Dublin 12.

Tosia's note, as it was Tweeted at the time. And Irvine's letter to her this week.
“We meet at 3.30pm. We spend 5 minutes waiting. After that we spend another 5 minutes exercising," she said.
“We do 5 laps around a green then we stretch and go. We have picnics in my garden and we just talk about our club.”
Only 5 to 10 year olds needed apply.
“I am the manager,” wrote Tosia, “but we all have to be treated the same.”
And when cyclist Ronan O'Riain tracked down Tosia and her mum and passed on the contact details to Irvine, he decided to reach out to her.
The Aqua Blue Sport rider told her he started out just like her - in a local club - before progressing to world track champion.
“I think your bike club is a great idea and I think you’re a great team manager,” he told her in the letter pictured above.
“It’s really important not only to train but to think about recovery and nutrition, so your stretching and picnics are perfect.
“I think you have a great attitude and I think you love cycling a lot, just like I did when I was your age.
“Hopefully you get lots of members for your bike club and if I didn’t have to race I would definitely join.”
