Published by British based Peloton Publishing the book tells the story of Kelly’s rise from his first days on a bike at his local Carrick-On-Suir league races to become one of the world’s best ever professional riders.

From his early days riding in Ireland, the book chronicles the highs and lows of Kelly’s career and, with the help of renowned British journalist Lionel Birnie, jigsaws together the tale of one of the most popular and highly regarded riders of his generation, a man whose feats on the bike stills see him heralded as ‘King Kelly’ around the world.

Although the book was due to be published in June, before Kelly headed off to take up his now familiar commentary role for Eurosport at the Tour de France, ‘Hunger’ finally hit the shelves of Easons today and will retail for around €18.99.
