Eve McCrystal (Strata 3-VeloRevolution) has finished Ireland's best-placed woman in the UCI individual rider rankings for 2020.
The national elite women's TT champion is 104th in the rankings on 125 points with Lara Gillespie (UCD Cycling Club) in 138th on 105 points and Mia Griffin (Illi Bikes) in 200th place in the rankings on 65 points.
Anna van der Breggen (Boels Dolmans) won the rankings
with 2,560.67 points from Elisa Longo Borghini (Trek-Segafredo) 2nd on 2,532.33
points. Annemiek Van Vleuten (Mitchelton Scott) was 3rd with 2,226 points.
Leading Irish woman McCrystal took her points at the
National Road Championships this year where she won the TT and was 2nd in the
road race.

Gillespie also scored all of her points at the nationals
where she claimed road race gold and was 6th in the TT while Griffin was 4th in
both TT and the road race at the Irish championships.
