Lance Armstrong is coming to Dublin for what is billed as a 90-minute no holds barred public interview on stage in Dublin.
The disgraced ring leader of the biggest drug-based sporting fraud cycling has ever seen, Lance Armstrong has been invited by a Dublin company for public interview at one of its events.
Sport for Business, a company that seeks to marry sport and commercial interests, has revealed that Armstrong will be interviewed live on stage at its new One Zero Conference in the RDS, Ballsbridge, on October 21st.
It is billing Armstrong’s interview as “no holds barred” and as his only European speaking engagement this year.
“This is an event which has attracted global interest from the people who are shaping the future of sport,” said One Zero co-founder Rob Hartnett.
“One Zero is about bringing compelling and world class sporting stories to life in a way that has never been done before.”
“Lance Armstrong has been the most jaw dropping story in sport in 20 years,” added co-founder Richard Barrett.
“Everyone has an opinion but very few have heard his story at first hand with all the cards on the table.”
“Having him speak openly and with candour about his past, with a world class interviewer who we will be revealing shortly, is a signal of the intent of One Zero to tackle the major issues in sport from money and fans to technology and drugs.”
