Kevin McCambridge will jump straight from the junior ranks to UCI Continental level next year having signed with Ribble Pro Cycling.

The teenager has spent the last year competing in the
colours of Vitus-Chill-NRPT; a leading Irish junior team.

McCambridge has excelled this season both in road racing
and against the watch and will join the UK-based team full of confidence.

He claimed the Irish junior TT title and was 3rd in the
road race. He was also 2nd over at the Junior Tour of Ireland and has taken a
string of victories on the domestic scene.

McCambridge’s next assignment will be with the Irish team
at the World Road Championships in Yorkshire.

He now goes into those championships in the knowledge
that what should prove a valuable development season next year is already in
place.
