Jan Ullrich hosting exclusive cycling tour (only €20,000 per person)

Jan Ullrich has had his ups and downs but the German Tour de France winner seems to be back into a more stable period in his life and is now running cycling tours

Jan Ullrich's problems of recent years have been well documented, with relationship breakdown and substance abuse seeing his life spiral out of control and coming to the attention of the police in both Spain and Germany for unsavoury incidents.

However, after periods in rehab the 1997 Tour de France winner seems to have come out the other end of his problems and is also doing some cycling. If the prices he's now charging for a four-day cycling trip in France are anything to go by, Ullrich is in top form.

This summer he is going back to the roads of France, where he made his name, to bring a group of cyclists on a four-day guided trip, taking in Mont Ventoux and the surrounding region. Anyone who wants to go on the trip has to apply for a place. There will be a maximum of 12 paying guests allowed on the trip and each one will pay a whopping €20,000 for the pleasure - that's €240,000 in four days if it sells out.

The trip takes place from July 13th to 16th in the beautiful region of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur" according to Ullrich's website.
