Jakob Fuglsang has been left with some nasty injuries near the end of the opening stage of the Tour de France.
The Dane, and pre-race favourite, was among several fallers with about 17km to go.
At the time of writing he was being supported in his chase back on by his Astana team mates.
He was clearly bleeding from his face, elbow and shoulder area. More to follow.
