Cycling Ireland has moved to assure riders that if they have not received their licences by this weekend they will still be able to race.
The association has now processed over 6,000 racing and non racing licences; 5,373 have been sent to club secretaries and a further 713 were to be printed up and distributed today, Monday.
However, if riders have paid but have yet to receive their licence and still do not have them by this weekend, Cycling Ireland has issued this advice:
“In the case of riders who have paid for their licence, but do not have a card this weekend, we recommend that they bring a print screen of their profile to the race with them. This screen shot will display their name, club and licence number. The Commissaires will have an up-to-date list of currently paid members.”
“If you don’t have your card or profile print screen, you can present your ID at sign on and they will be able to mark you off against the name on their list.”
Those riders who have not yet paid for their licence, or have submitted their application late, can still race this weekend by taking out a one-day licence at the race they plan to ride.
Yearbooks will be available from next week, with Cycling Ireland promising a further announcement about how they are to be collected or delivered.
If you want to check whether your licence is on the Cycling Ireland list of “paid and printed” or “paid but not printed” then click the link below and look for your name.
The riders’ names are grouped as per their club, and the clubs are listed alphabetically.
So look for your club and once you find it you’ll spot your name, also in alphabetical order, in your club list.
If your name is not on one of these two lists you will need to buy a one-day licence this weekend.
