You can take the young lads out of Ireland but you can't take Ireland out of the young lads; anyone got an O'Neill's ball?
They have been flying this year and despite intense competition to get onto the Irish U23 team for these World Championships, these are the four who made the grade; Eddie Dunbar, Matt Teggart, Daire Feeley and Michael O'Loughlin.
Dunbar and O'Loughlin have already been in time trial action, the former taking a brilliant 9th place in the U23 test.
And all four will on Thursday line out in the road race in Doha for 165.7km in the scorching sun. It should be a brutal race but the Irish are up for the challenge.
And judging by these photos shared by Feeley online, they are in great form.
They've been out training in Qatar and along the way stopped off at the TT where they struck a GAA team photo pose, all they were short of was an O'Neill's football to complete the look!
We'll bring you news of how they get on; best of luck lads!
They look in good form.
Staying true to their roots, the lads strike a GAA team photo pose on the TT starting ramp.
Soak up that sun - but it won't be their friend in the race...
Not exactly lush pastures and rolling hills.
The place is a building site and it's the most attractive backdrop for road racing.
