Following on from the success of Eddie Dunbar in the U23 Tour of Flanders last weekend, Cycling Ireland has confirmed the squad will ride an extra Nations Cup race.

The national federation said an Irish U23 team would take to the start line in the XX Coppa Citta' Di Offida on May 1st.

However, with the race just over two weeks away it has yet to name the riders that will form the team.

Before the testing Italian encounter an Irish U23 team will ride the ZLM-Roompot Tour. It is held in Holland and takes place this Saturday and Sunday.
