Team Ireland Leprechauns got the Venga Bus to the World Cyclocross Championships in Valkenburg in time to storm the podium for a rave. They made their presence felt all weekend, as you can see...
Irish leprechauns at the Cyclocross Worlds Valkenburg
Ireland had its biggest ever team at the World Cyclocross Championships, and plenty of supporters too.
Having wooed with their antics 12 months ago, the Leprechaun Army from Kerry has obliged once more.
The lads are well known for having the craic and doing their bit for international relations via merriment.
They all got togged out in their leprechaun kit to give a good lash this weekend.
They ran down sections of the course between races, cheered on by thousands of fans from all over the world.
And as the international brass bands that traditionally descend on the 'cross Worlds banged out the tunes the lads danced up a storm.
The cyclocross worlds is traditionally an event for dressing up and going bonkers (honestly - Ed).
Representing Ireland this time around were: Patrick Clifford, Cormac Daly, Darren O’Mahoney, James O’Sullivan, John Crowley, Matt Slattery, Colin Leahy, Craig Moynihan, Richard Cleverly, Sean Dineen, Denis O’Shea and Tim O’Regan.
You can have a look at some of their 'activities' from this weekend below.
And if you want to compare their performance this weekend with their effort last year, check out last year's leprechaun outing here.
