The Irish Hill Climb Championships will be the last road title on offer of the 2019 season and will be fought out in Co Kerry on Sunday week, September 29th.
Entries are now open and you can sign on the dotted line for what should be a great event by following this link.
The title race is being promoted by Tralee Manor West Bicycle Club on the scenic Glounsharoon climb near Crag Cave, Castleisland.
The climb is 1.3km in length with an average gradient of 10 per cent but featuring sections of over 20 per cent.
It will be the first time the championships have returned to Kerry since 2013; a county that often plays host to fantastic climbing battles in Irish cycling.
At the championships on Sunday week medals will be on
offer in four categories; elite, Masters 40, Masters 50 and Masters 60.
Sign on is from 10am to 11am at Crag Cave and the first
rider will be off at 12pm.
The prize presentation and refreshments will be from 2pm at the Manor West Hotel Tralee.
