Currently in the United States at a training camp with his new squad Axeon Hagens Berman Cycling Team, young Irish cycling star Eddie Dunbar had a brush with mega stardom today, Wednesday.
US pop sensation Justin Bieber was apparently knocking about and posed to have his photo taken with the entire team.
As the shot below shows, Bieber is dressed in black with the star struck riders; with our own Dunbar second from the left.
The guys are getting the miles in, as well as getting used to their new kit and getting to know each other, under the sunshine blue skies of California; Malibu to be precise.
On how the somewhat unusual meeting of the Banteer man and Canadian Bieber came about, Dunbar explained to stickybottle:

"We were on a ride along the coast in Malibu and he was just walking on the street surrounded by his bodyguards. He kind of ran at us just messing and we cycled on not thinking any more of it.
"But then we decided to turn around because some of the lads realised it was Justin Bieber! So we went back and got a photo, he was sound out."
There you have it folks, Justin 'Sound Out' Bieber was a grand lad.
It's certainly one of the more random stories we've done; and that's saying something!
