We've got everything from Irish dancing in cycling shoes to Zwift's idea of an Irish cyclist and St Patrick's Day greetings from our pro riders.
Irish cyclists and pro cycling mark St Patrick's Day...
He was in green on the eve of the big day so we have to give Sam Bennett first mention.
After two stage wins at Paris-Nice Bennett shared this photo of riding in the points jersey yesterday to mark the national holiday.
But celebrations will have been limited for the Carrick-on-Suir man as Milan-Sanremo beckons next weekend.
Happy #saintpatricksday! ☘ enjoyed my morning in green yesterday @ParisNice. Now onto my next target #milansanremo pic.twitter.com/SBjH6UvRyC

Next up is a woman we know only as "Trek Travel's Madeline"; uber talented in the ways of Irish dancing in cycling shoes.
In honor of #StPatricksDay I give you @TrekTravel’s very talented Madeline Irish dancing in cycling shoes. ? pic.twitter.com/wivFJP6d6Y

Conor Dunne is in the Irish champion's jersey this season and so he gets a couple of mentions.
Yesterday he was clearly preoccupied with St Patrick's Day when he accidentally rambled onto the Team Sunweb bus (with/as a giraffe).
And with the climbing now behind him at Tirreno-Adriatico, he was looking forward to a pint of Irish tonight.

With the climbing in #TirrenoAdriarico all but over and tomorrow job as a key lead-out sprint is awaiting - Mr. ☘️ @conordunnealot is finally going to fulfill the crucial part of the Saint Patrick’s day tradition. Which one ? Watch. pic.twitter.com/3SRT4Bbf0x

Nicolas Roche was also riding in Italy today, for Team Sunweb, and was keeping the St Patrick's Day celebrations simple.
He went for a shot of himself at the London Olympics in 2012 in his Irish team kit.
Top Irish track sprinter, and Olympic hopeful, Robyn Stewart was at home in Belfast for St Patrick's Day.
With no indoor veldrome in Ireland, she was looking for the best place to do her sprints, as the video below reveals.
You'll need to click the arrow on the right of the photo below to see the video.
Unfortunately Irish TT champion Ryan Mullen wasn't enjoying much St Patrick's Day cheer.
He's been ill and on the sidelines of late, but at least he took the first steps back on the national holiday.
I rode outside today for the first time in 13 days after a sickness of doom I picked up after opening weekend.
Not sure if I'm more concerned about getting my tan back or my fitness but god it's nice to pedal again.— Ryan Mullen (@ryanmullen9) March 17, 2019
Well known in domestic cycling circles, usually on the back of a race moto, Pat Dowd was on duty today.
He's a Garda and teamed up with his colleagues, and one family member, from the New York PD Stateside.

Even Zwift got in on the act for St Patrick's Day, with a bit of stereotyping!
Apparently all Irish cyclists ride postmen's bikes, with flat caps and red beards.
Happy St. Paddy's Day Zwifters! Have a ShamRockin' day. ☘️?? pic.twitter.com/TGOR1TzjnA

Not exactly a St Patrick's Day celebration, though it really was the very best way to celebrate; Ronan Grimes medalled at the Worlds.
He claimed a silver medal at the UCI's paracycling track worlds in Holland.
?️ 'I'm still in shock. I didn't event realise we had a gap until we had half a lap. Then with 10 laps to go, a medal was certain.'
Ronan Grimes took that Scratch Race by the horns and left #Apeldoorn2019 a World Silver ? Medallist ?

Irish U23 TT champion Michael O'Loughlin was in race action in Portugal for Team Wiggins today.
The Carrick man was a very solid 15th at Classica da Arrabida-Cyclin'Portugal (1.2).

Okay, so now we're veering ever so slightly away from pro cycling. But it's still St Patrick's Day and it's still cycling.
We're not sure about Healthy Ireland's execution with this idea, but they had the idea and that's the main thing.
Inspired by the Joyce Cycle in today's #dublinparade here is our attempt at some great literature!
St Patrick walked this country
Many hills and fields he hiked
It would have been much easier

The Galway School Cycle Bus kids and their mentors were invited to the Galway parade as participants.
This is a fantastic group focussed on cycling to school in an organised and mentored fashion each morning.
They were guests of BikeMarshalls.ie today; the motorbike marshall personnel who work on many of our domestic bike races - well done lads!
Few more photos from today. Huge thanks of appreciation to the motorcyclists from https://t.co/VKKm3MsU2f for inviting us to join. We had a brilliant day. Kids were over the moon, and the sun even stayed out! pic.twitter.com/ps3QfidSP8

Writer and broadcaster Norma Burke as writer 'Maeve Brennan by bike' in the St Patrick's Day parade in Dublin today.

Rob Tobin takes advantage of the closed roads in Dublin to imagine how it could be all the time.
And we're liking his idea very much indeed...
Now just need more bikes, tables, cafes, planting and more pedestrians! pic.twitter.com/oDIFSYQ0K7

Dublin's Lord Mayor Nial Ring hasn't always been a huge advocate for cycling. But he was getting into the swing of things today.
It looks like Lord Mayor Niall Ring found the best way to get around Dublin City this St Patricks weekend!@stpatricksfest @dublincycling #StPatricksFest #StPatricksDay #StPatricksWeekend pic.twitter.com/NJDHiQXe2M
