Irish cycling agent Andrew McQuaid has launched a new-look cyclocross team for the season ahead; Trinity Racing.
The outfit is owned by, and named after, McQuaid's London-based sports agency.
For the 2019-2020 campaign ahead, U23 world champion Tim Pidcock is the star attraction.
He rode last season with TP Racing, with Trinity Racing now effectively an evolved version of last year's outfit, which was also put together by McQuaid.
It will begin its season this weekend at
Telenet Superprestige race in Gieten. The season ahead will see Pidcock make
the transition from U23 to elite racing.
As well as Pidcock in the team, McQuaid
has lined up British riders Cameron Mason and Abby-Mae Parkinson.
Mason (19) is mountain bike and cyclocross
rider from Scotland and will ride U23 races in Europe with Trinity Racing.
Abby-Mae Parkinson (22) finished 4th in this year’s British road race championships and is returning to cyclocross after focusing on the road in recent seasons.

“The team will once again be centred
around development of its riders, nurturing the right environment for them to
enjoy their racing as they progress through the sport,” said McQuaid.
“We saw the success of this environment
last year in Tom’s very impressive results and hope to continue on that track.
“We are also delighted to welcome two
other young British riders in Cameron and Abby-Mae, and look forward to
watching their progression throughout the season.
“We are excited to be supported by an
impressive list of equipment and technical partners, which includes Sram, Maap
and Specialized.”
Pidcock, who was 3rd in the
U23 road race at the Worlds in Yorkshire, said he was delighted with his
progress during last year’s cyclocross season and hoped for more.
“Winning the U23s last year was a huge
goal of mine and the team, so to deliver that in our debut season was huge,” he
said of his cyclocross world title.
“There is a great environment amongst
all the staff and we are supported by top class equipment partners.
“I really enjoy the input and flexibility
that I get with this team and I cannot wait to begin racing in the new Trinity
Racing colours.”
