Irish elite road race champion Ben Healy has been named
on a very strong Trinity Racing selection for the Tour of Britain next week.

The 20-year-old has really impressed on the biggest
stages as an U23 in recent years and now gets his chance to go up against many
of the biggest teams in the world in the week-long race starting in Cornwall on
Sunday.

Healy became the youngest ever winner of a stage at Tour de l’Avenir in his first season as an U23 in 2019. Last year he claimed a stage win at Ronde de l'Isard, as well as being crowned Irish elite and U23 road race champion and U23 TT champion.

And this year he claimed the final stage at the Baby
Giro, with a solo attack from the breakaway, before riding very strongly last
month at the Tour de l’Avenir, before his challenge faded on the high climbs.

Healy will definitely back himself to take on the top
riders in the world next week and pull off a result if he gets a chance. He is
also joined by a very strong Trinity Racing team, a number of whom could pull
off a stage win if they get some luck.
