Gardai have launched an investigation and are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was left badly injured in Dublin today.
The male cyclist was cycling in the north inner city when he was in collission with a truck.
He was taken to hospital from the scene at the junction of North King Street and Queen Street near Smithfield.
Gardai are investigating how the crash happened. However, it involved a waste recycling truck.
The cyclist suffered an arm injury and photos of his crumpled bike at the scene, below, suggest he had a very lucky escape.
