Cycling Ireland's new eRacing Series on Zwift is proving very popular with cyclists as over 600 have signed up to date for the second race in the series this Saturday.
The national governing body has responded to the suspension in racing and group rides on the road by coming forward with a 'virtual cycling' offering.
It involves a 12-race series, the first event of which took place last weekend, and group ride workouts, also on Zwift.
The next round in the Cycling Ireland Zwift Race Series takes places this Saturday, April 4th, from 10:05am.
The 3R Sand&Sequioas Race is a two-lap 43km race and you can view the event by following this link.
While the racing is proving a very popular option, those who want some company on workouts can avail of Cycling Ireland's group rides every Tuesday and Thursday.
And a special group workout will be held this Sunday, when Team Sunweb pro Nicolas Roche will lead the group. All the details of Cycling Ireland's racing and group work-outs can be found by following this link.
Just be aware that the specific details of the races and the workouts will be announced closer to the date of each one. So you will need to keep an eye on the Cycling Ireland site for those details as they become available in the days and weeks ahead.
