After an incredible season for Irish cycling, where the strength in depth for men and women across the categories was unprecedented, Cycling Ireland is organising a night out so cycling fans can meet some of our biggest stars.
And when we say 'stars', we mean it. On hand will be Tour de France stage winner and yellow jersey Ben Healy, track world and European champion Lara Gillespie, World Cup and world championships bronze medal winner Ronan Dunne and Paralympic and world champion Katie George Dunlevy.
Not since the days of Sean Kelly and Stephen Roche, and then Dan Martin and Nicolas Roche, have we had riders who have captured success like the current crop.
And though Martyn Irvine was also world champion on the track, Irish riders won medals, including gold, across four World Championships this year; road, track, downhill and paracycling.

We are often very slow to organise any celebrations, or even homecomings, for our returning conquering cyclists, so now is your chance to be part of that.
The Cycling Ireland night, with all the big stars in attendance, takes place at Carlton Hotel, Blanchardstown, Dublin, on the night of Friday, November 28th - and you can buy your ticéid here.
There is a meet and greet with the riders from 7pm, followed by three-course dinner and a "fireside chat" with the riders, meaning a public interview so everyone can hear about the year they've had.
The tickets are €80 for Cycling Ireland members and €110 for non-members. For those wishing to attend in groups, tables are available. There is a discount of a table of 12 guests for €800 for Cycling Ireland members, and for non-members a table of 12 is €1,100.

"Whether you are coming on your own or would like to have a table, this event is not to be missed," said Cycling Ireland, and it's hard to argue with that.
This will be a fantastic event and it's great to see Cycling Ireland organising this night of Irish cycling celebration to mark the achievements of some of our top riders.
Again, the tickets are on sale at this link right here, and ticket sales close on November 24th.
