The life of a professional cyclist is a tough one, but it comes with some nice perks.
In this photo tweeted by Team Sky’s Chris Froome after yesterday’s Vuelta mountain stage, Nicolas Roche is photographed taking a helicopter to make the after-stage transfer a little easier.

The Irishman was among a group high enough on GC to be eligible for the chopper transfer laid on by the race organisers.
He’s been in good company climbing in this race so far and yesterday’s chopper journey was no different, sharing his ride with big guns Froome, Valverde and Contador.
