Eddie Dunbar’s move to American-based continental team Axeon is a very good one on a number of levels, we believe.
Not only have the team sent 18 riders to the WorldTour since their inception in 2009 but they also have a very attractive race programme, one that includes the hillier stage races in the US.
But another reason the switch from NFTO looks a good one is because Dunbar will be onboard arguably the best bikes ever made.
Designed by two of the world’s leading experts in bike technology, the team will have access to the Specialized Venge ViAS, a bike ridden by Peter Sagan and Mark Cavendish in the Tour this year.
