Irish elite cyclocross champion, and U23 road race title holder, Dean Harvey, will join forces with Rás Tailteann stage winner, Kevin McCambridge, this weekend to lead out a 50km charity ride.
The two Trinity Racing riders will lead the group on Saturday from the Balmoral Hotel on Blacks Road, Belfast, at 10am, for the Toby's Charity Cycle 2023 in support of Cancer Fund for Children. You can register for the event - which is online entry only - by following this link.
The event is being organised by VC Glendale and well known Irish cycling photographer Toby Watson, who does great work on the Irish scene. Even if you cannot make it on the day, you can donate by following this link. Watson is a stalwart of Irish cycling, traveling all over the country to take photos of road and cyclocross races. So let's all get behind him on this, especially as the event is for such a good cause.

If you’ve raced in Ireland in recent years, chances are Toby has photographed you. And you will certainly have seen his photos on stickybottle. Toby’s Charity Cycle began six years ago to mark Toby’s birthday and it has a grown to a 300-rider sportive with a whopping £15,000 raised.
All of the money goes to help children fighting cancer. Because the sportive and the associated fund-raising effort is all run by volunteers, there are no costs related to administration or employing anyone. There’s no middle man; the money goes straight to the cause. The details of this weekend’s cycle in Belfast are set out below.
