Glitzy and entertaining Irish Cycling Show set for RDS this weekend

This list of exhibitors at this weekend's Irish Cycling Show is as long as it is impressive.

The fourth annual Irish Cycling Show takes place in Dublin’s RDS Main Hall this weekend with a stellar line-up of exhibitors set to attract another bumper crowd.

Not since the event was started in 2012 has it been held at the Ballsbridge venue, which should attract a large crowd.

Last year it was staged in Merrion Square to coincide with the Giro d’Italia while the CityWest Hotel hosted it 12 months earlier.

They were all hugely popular and this weekend is set to bring a crowd to rival the numbers that flocked to the city over the May Bank Holiday last year for the arrival of the Giro.

As well as the change of venue the event has been brought forward a few weeks and there will also be more options for those visiting not just to check out the kit on offer but to also make purchases.

Co-ordinating the event with promoter Hugh Bonner is sales manager Grace McDermott and she said the uptake from exhibitors was stronger than ever, with local businesses and major brands all in place for a great weekend.

There's been some fantastic kit on show at the Irish Cycling Show over the last couple of years and this weekend looks set to be even better.

“The uptake has been great and we’re very pleased with it,” she said.

“There’s an awful lot of new people, companies, brands and exhibitors coming this year.

“We can only suspect they heard good things about the previous years and wanted to get involved. It should make for a great two days in Dublin.”

As well as exhibitors showcasing everything from clothing to accessories, components and nutrition; there are stands being manned by Cycling Ireland and Triathlon Ireland as well as a range of outfitters.

There will be guest appearances, bike rides, a test track, seminars, interviews and plenty more to keep everyone entertained throughout the weekend.
