
Geraint Thomas has suffered his third crash of Tour de France 2019; hitting the deck on his own on a right had bend.
The Welsh rider was quickly back on his feet, secured a new bike from his Team Ineos car and was on his way again.

He regained the peloton after his team mates waited for him, though he was left with an injured knee.
Thomas had also crashed on stage 1 when Nicolas Roche (Team Sunweb) nearly fell and the defending champion also hit the deck on stage 8.
