The Irish media and sponsors of the An Post-Sean Kelly team are travelling in great numbers to Belgium tomorrow for the official launch of the Irish-Belgian outfit for the year ahead.
But before the riders and 2012 team set-up is officially unveiled at a special presentation, we’ve got our hands on some very nice photos of the guys in action during their training camp in Calpe in southern Spain just a few weeks ago.
They’re the first decent shots we’ve been able to get of the new personnel line-up, kit and bikes and so we thought we’d share them with you.

Left to right: Bagdonas, Downey, McConvey and Bennett

Big man-big engine: We think Connor McConvey is going to do the biz this year

This is going to be a crucial season for Sam Bennett’s development

Mark Cassidy would dearly love a GC win at the Ras

Bennett (left) & Downey lead the others, both well capable of very good things in 2012

Bagdonas came very close to a major contract for 2012, he’ll be looking to make that move soon….

Make no mistake, Rambo can still (and will) do the biz in the gallops

Talented Briton Mark McNally looking relaxed and ready to roll

Best of British: Bellis is another massive rider and has a point to prove after difficult crash injuries

Ronan McLaughlin, ever improving and due a breakthrough win – lots of talent

No caption needed!

Professional back-up is always at hand

The non-riding staff are a key part of the set up

A jammer that is a Mercedes; me like
