Okay people, here we go. The Irish track team of Caroline Ryan, Martyn Irvine and Ryan Mullen get their World Track Championships campaign underway today in Cali, Colombia.
They have hopes of coming away with medals to add to the gold and silver haul taken by Irvine in Minsk last year.
We've include their race schedule below with the approximate times the trio will be in action in the period to Sunday.
Caroline Ryan gets the Irish ball rolling in the 10km scratch race at 8pm local time this evening; 1am Irish time.
Cycling Ireland's head coach Brian Nugent says the Irish camp is ready for the tough challenge ahead.
“The team have had a successful World Cup campaign building up to this,” he said from Cali just hours ahead of Ryan getting Ireland’s campaign underway.
“It will be a tough World Championships, as the World’s is always a different level. The best riders in the World will be here, and in their best form. But we’re looking forward to that. It’s what we’ve been building up to all year. We’re ready for the challenge, and we’re here to compete for medals.”
