Since the last cyclocross season ended way back in January, Roger Aiken - seen leading here - has put in the best An Post Rás by a county rider. Last season he and National Cyclocross Champion Robin Seymour (second here) were by far the best on the Irish cyclocross circuit and it seems unlikely it will be any different when the new season gets underway.
Details have been revealed of the upcoming cyclocross season, with three series - one in the north and two in the south - creating 18 race days over the winter months in what promises to be the strongest campaign yet for the sport here following a bumper year last year.
The Ulster Cyclocross Series makes a welcome return, as does the Fixx Coffeehouse Series in the Republic, where a new three-round North Dublin Cyclocross League joins the calendar.

When added to the National Championships in January, those three leagues have a combined 18 race days on offer. The details here are provisional and may be subject to change so we'll bring you any news in that regard if and when it emerges.
