Gallagher said it would aim to encourage and develop cyclists with sporting to high performance goals; from leisure cyclists to elite riders and triathletes.

It will offer a suite of services including coaching and general sporting assistance in a range of areas, from sports-related diet to nutrition, expert bike fitting and physiotherapy.

The company is also planning seminars, training camps and what it terms a “mass participation” charity sportive in the North, where both Gallagher and business manager Mandy Collie are from.

It will also be renting power metres and has been promoting and selling Forme bikes through its website.

Gallagher is best known in Ireland for his overall win in the FBD Ras in 2008, when he rode for the Sean Kelly team. The 31-year-old from Richhill in Co Armagh enjoyed a well travelled career as an elite cyclist.

Fleeman is an ex professional with the Cervelo Test Team. The 28-year-old has most recently rode for the UK-based Raleigh squad. He also previously rode for the Sean Kelly team.
