The Irish national champion's jersey to be worn by Matt Brammeier has been revealed today after Cycling Ireland approved the new design by Brammeier's new squad Synergy Baku.
The new look jersey no longer features the large green band around the chest area that has been prominent ever since Dan Martin won the title back in 2008.
Instead, it is mainly white with two narrow green stripes across the chest split by what has become the symbol of the Irish champion around the world; the shamrock.
The design also features green and gold vertical stripes down the centre of the jersey, both on the front and back, with the stripes and shamrock theme continuing on the sides of Brammeier's shorts.
Underneath the shamrock on the front is the Baku 2015 logo, in honour of the fact that the Azerbaijan capital will play host to the first ever European Olympics next year.
The rest of the team kit will remain the same as last year, with the story behind the Synergy Baku team colours explained by team manager David McQuaid.
"The dark pink or magenta is there for a reason," he says.
"The pomegranate fruit is the national fruit of Azerbaijan. It was through pure fluke that where we positioned the colours in 2013, it made the Baku jersey one of the most easy to pick out of the peloton, front view or rear.”
While the national champion’s jersey has been given a complete remodel for this season, we think you'll agree the jersey will still stand out in the peloton and we wish Matt Brammeier the best of Irish luck in his fourth year wearing it.

There is also a strong Irish theme with the shorts, with the colour of the national flag very prominent (Image courtesy of Synergy Baku)
