First photos of Dan Martin on the road with Etixx-QuickStep

New Year, new team, new gear: These are the first photos of Dan Martin on the road with his new Etixx-QuickStep squad.

Dan Martin is looking great in these new publicity photos from the Etixx-QuickStep training camp in southern Spain.

The Irish international joins the team from Cannondale-Garmin; a squad he rode for in its different guises since first turning professional in 2007.

Principal of his new team, Patrick Lefevere, said having taken more victories last year than any other WorldTour outfit he was confident the squad could dominate again.

And he believes new boy Dan Martin can be central to those plans.

“We have all the prerequisites to have another great year,” Lefevere said.

“The new arrivals have been well integrated. Dan Martin is a shoe-in for his races.

“He's a complete rider that any team would like to have. Kittel is on the right path to returning to his 2013 and 2014 level, when he caught the public's attention.”
