First look at Ryan Mullen in his new Cannondale-Garmin kit

Ryan Mullen fills this new Cannondale-Garmin kit very well. He gets his big start at WorldTour level at the Tour of Britain. It gets underway in Wales, where he was born and grew up. So he should have plenty of support for his first day in the top ranks.

After impressing in time trials at major championships and against the pros in recent years, Ryan Mullen makes his debut at WorldTour level on Sunday when the Tour of Britain starts.

The national time trial champion will ride with Cannondale-Garmin as a stagiaire for the remainder of this year, having signed a contract with them from August 1st.

The Tour of Britain is his first race riding in the US-based squad’s colours. And his two-year deal proper begins with them from January 1st.

He has is the reigning U23 and senior time trial champion and took the combined U23 and senior road race crown last year.

He has won several medals at major championships against the watch, as well as the national U23 title every time he has ridden that event.
