Nicolas Roche has been officially unveiled as a new Saxo-Tinkoff rider, with this photo being released by the Danish-based squad.

The 28-year-old has made the move from Ag2r La Mondiale, which has been his home since 2009. It is his first time riding with a non-French team, having started with Cofidis before moving to Credit Agricole and then on to Ag2r.

His new team says while his primary role will be to help its leader Alberto Contador to win the Tour de France, the Irishman who turned pro back in 2004 at the age of 20 years will have some opportunities to try and get some results for himself in the season ahead.
