First look at Ireland's Nicolas Roche in new Team DSM kit for 2021

Nicolas Roche has been meeting up with his team mates, including new arrival Romain Bardet, at the Team DSM pre-season training camp.

These photos are the first of the Irishman in the new Team DSM kit, with the squad having ridden as Team Sunweb in recent seasons.

The team's riders have met up, clearly under blue skies, in Calpe in southern Spain for their first get together of 2021.

Roche enjoyed a very strong season in 2020, proving aggressive on many stages during the Tour de France, where he was team captain as the team's riders took three stage wins.

Marc Hirschi then went on to claim victory in La Flèche Wallonne and while the Swiss rider has since left the team, the arrival of Bardet and the team's brilliant year in 2020 mean it will go into the coming season full of confidence.

Roche is now about to start his 17th full season as a professional rider, an incredible run by the 36-year-old, and we'll have a catch-up chat with him soon.
