Here's the first shots of any of the Irish national champion's kits that will be worn in the peloton next year.
Cork woman Fiona Meade popped up in September and had a fantastic Rás na mBan, where she was in the top three on three occasions and took a stage win as well as the county ride jersey and the points classification.
And just one week later she showed once again she was in great form when she rode a great race to win the national road crown from US-based Olivia Dillon (Colavita) and Louise Moriarty (Look Mum No Hands) in a sprint from a depleted group, above.
Meade won that title in the colours of Blarney CC, a club the physiotherapist will be staying with next year. But one thing that will change is the colour of her kit.
The shots below offer the first look at the twist Blarney has had put on its kit merged with the national champion's; looks pretty cool to us. May she wear it well! (Photo by JimmyMcElroy.com)
