Ben Healy (20) has shared the first images of his new Irish road race champion's jersey for the year ahead.
The Irish rider with the Trinity Racing Continental team is the reigning national elite and U23 men's road race champion and also holds the Irish U23 men's TT title.
His team's start to the road racing season has been delayed, like many other teams around the world, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. But now that Healy is getting to set to race he's shown off his new jersey, by Maap, for the first time.
It looks great and is very similar to Nicolas Roche's jersey when he was Irish champion in his Team Sky years; one of the best national champion's kits we've seen in recent years.
Healy will also wear customised Irish champion's Specialized S-Works 7 shoes - designed by The Shoe Dr - meaning there will be no mistaking him in the peloton when he's in race action.
As well as winning the Irish title on the road last year, Healy also claimed a stage at Ronde de l'Isard (2.2U) and was selected to ride the elite men's race at the World Road Championships in Imola. In 2019, his first year as an U23, he became the youngest ever rider to win a stage at the Tour de l'Avenir.
