Dublin Fire Brigade has released this horrible photo of a cycling crash in Dublin as a road safety warning.
Dublin Fire Brigade has released this photo that will stop every cyclist in their tracks; a bike crushed under the wheels of a truck.
Thankfully the cyclist who was riding the bike moments before it went under the wheels escaped uninjured.
And obviously if that hadn’t been the case neither they nor stickybottle would be publishing the photo.
The interesting thing is that the Fire Brigade has used the release of the photo to warn drivers to be careful and to watch out for cyclists – and children - around Dublin.
It’s not so long ago a message like this would have been aimed at cyclists; urging those in two wheels to keep themselves safe.

So this looks like real progress.
And thankfully the person involved in this somehow escaped uninjured because by the looks of this photo it could have been very different.
