The Irish cycling team EvoPro Racing will wear this kit during its first season in 2019. The squad will ride at Continental level next year, with a mix of Irish and international riders.
A new pro cycling team in 2019, EvoPro Racing couldn't wait for the New Year to reveal its look for next season; offering this glimpse in the last hours of 2018.
The team will ride the black and green kit when it races at home and abroad. It has already confirmed it will race on Guerciotti Eureka Air bikes.
They are the same bikes the Bardiani-CSF ProContinental team will race on next season.
Irish road and track international Mark Downey has also been confirmed for the team in 2019. He and fellow Banbridge CC man, Matt Teggart, move to Evo Pro Racing from Team Wiggins.
Other Irish riders in the new Irish Continental team include Daire Feeley, who has been based in Monaco in recent years.
US-based Irishman Cormac Mcgeough, who rode for Jelly Belly this year, also joins. And Aaron Kearney, who rode for Viner-Caremark-Pactimo and Holdsworth this year, steps up.
PJ Nolan, a former RTE broadcaster and former Cycling Ireland president, is the team’s general manager. Former Irish road champion and ex-pro, Morgan Fox, is head sports director.
Matteo Cigala, a former U23 Italian international living in Ireland, is the coach and a sports director with Evo Pro Racing.
Jon Dam, an Australian who worked with the Interpro-Stradalli team this year, is also a sports director with the new Evo Pro Racing.
