The cyclocross season is ploughing ahead unabated, with entries now open for Round 3 of the Fixx Coffeehouse Supercross Series the weekend after next.
Last year it was Roger Aiken who was victorious after he made the journey from the North, with the Banbridge CC man edging out An Post-Sean Kelly’s Conor McConvey and national champion Robin Seymour (Team WORC) on that occasion.
The course in Tallaght, south west Dublin, should be a fast one, with more tarmac sections to be included, though there are wooded sections and some banks for the riders to negotiate.
Last year a spiral feature was added to add to the course’s technical challenge and that will most likely be included this time around for the race on Sunday week, October 28th.
After pushing back the start time in Swords by an hour last weekend, the racing is back to the usual times for Round 3, with an 11.30am start for the B race and a 1pm start for the A race
The racing is, as usual, online pre-entry only. You can enter now here.
