You know you've arrived when one of the big international magazines gives you a 10-page spread; Sam Bennett is the 'Emerald Bullet'.
Okay, so we (obviously) know you get all of your cycling news from stickybottle.com, but the odd time another media outlet produces a piece that's well worth a look.
This time it's the turn of the Cycle Sport magazine which, in its summer edition, has run a major spread on Ireland's Sam Bennett.
Dubbing him the 'Emerald Bullet', the magazine devotes all of 10 pages to the rising fastman from Carrick.
It not only interviews Bennett but also talks to those who have helped him and worked with him along the way, including Sean Kelly for whose An Post-Chainreaction team Bennett rode for moving up to ProContinental with Bora-Argon 18.
And the magazine also interviews Martin O'Loughlin, who coached Bennett for years and still mentors him.
It's well worth a read in that it traces Bennett's development from the time he was a very young rider, through his deciding to quit the bike and imploding after a poor national championships a few years ago.
Bennett's father Mike is also interviewed, which gives a really interesting perspective from inside the family.
