EF Pro Cycling's new Rapha + Palace kit now being sold for huge money

The new EF Pro Cycling 'Rapha + Palace' Giro kit was sold online in limited numbers and quickly sold out. Now the kit is popping up on Ebay for very hefty prices

EF Pro Cycling's new kit by Rapha + Palace has been sold by both Rapha and Palace online in limited numbers but is already being offered for sale on Ebay for huge sums of money.

One Ebay user was offering a jersey, shorts and pair of socks for sale in a bundle for a staggering $1,300.

Others were selling the jersey on its own - which was initially sold for £145 - for the sum of £600 with a bidon being sold for $125.

The team's Rapha + Palace kit also includes other items like helmets and casual wear. And some of that was also already on sale on Ebay even though it was only offered for sale by Rapha and Palace on their websites from midday on Friday.

POC Ventral helmets, to match the distinctive Giro kit livery, were on sale for £750, with hoodie tops being offered at $300, T-shits at £150 and even a team cap for £160.

The team's new kit, which was launched for the Giro, also featues and TT helmet with duck eyes to the front and a duck's bill to the back though none of those has popped up for sale online anywhere.

The kit was designed to make a splash and while it has divided opinion may people - including team boss Jonathan Vaughters - clearly love the new look; a product of Rapha and skateboard company Palace.
