It's not that long ago that Eddie Dunbar was winning youth races in Ireland, barely filling his Kanturk Cycling Club jersey. It's all change now; Dunbar a WorldTour rider and really looking the part.
Eddie Dunbar starts his first full season with Team Sky in a matter of weeks and has been in camp in his new kit for 2019.
The young Irish cyclist really looks the part in these publicity shots the team has released featuring its new look for the coming season.
Gone is the black or white that have dominated the team's look in recent years. Instead the new kit is a mix of navy blue fading to a lighter shade from the chest up.
It looks like the team's nicest kit since Team Sky joined the pro bunch a decade ago. And Dunbar is very much looking the part as he takes his place in the training group with some of the best riders in the world.
This year will be Eddie Dunbar's first at WorldTour level. He began last year as a ProContinental rider with Aqua Blue Sport.
And when that team folded in August Dunbar was immediately snapped up by Team Sky. It even entered him in a series of end of season races in Italy.
That unexpected entry into the team at the end of 2018 meant Dunbar had the chance to get to know the riders and staff in his new squad.
It means he should hit the ground running in 2019; a big year for Team Sky as it looks for a new sponsor to secure its future beyond the end of the coming season.
