Video: Team Ineos puts Eddie Dunbar through Silverstone wind tunnel

Eddie Dunbar is one of the riders Team Ineso chose to put through the Silverstone wind tunnel and aero testing experience. It aims to improve a rider's TT and road race position to make it more aero.

Eddie Dunbar has been put through a complex set of wind tunnel and open road aero testing by Team Ineos, with the session featuring in the video below.

Dunbar and
Italian TT and track specialist Filippo Ganna, who is also a Team Ineos rider,
were taken to a testing facility at Silverstone.

The company Swiss Side, which has worked in Formula 1, has now been recruited by Team Ineos to improve its riders' positions.

This involves
getting more aero in the familiar “tucked” TT position on their TT bikes with
all the special equipment geared for speed.

But the WorldTour
outfit also wants the riders to become as aero as possible in the road racing
domain.

“It think one of the main things that has changed cycling over the past 10 years, is aerodynamics,” said Eddie Dunbar.
